Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? Who me? Yes you! Couldn’t be. Then who?
.
Okay, I have a confession; I did! I stole the cookies. Seriously though, why wouldn’t you steel these beauties? You can’t get much better then a warm, ooey-gooey, chocolate chip cookie! Did I mention that these are grain free and GAPS friendly?
There is no excuse not to make these easy “whole food” cookies. Lets take a look at the ingredients….
Here are the supplies I use…
Ingredients:
- 1 ¾ almond flour
- ¼ cup vanilla honey or (¼ honey + 1 tsp vanilla)
- ¾ cup homemade chocolate chips (homemade or Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips <–not GAPS legal)
- ¼ cup butter/ghee or coconut oil (softened)
- ¼ tsp unrefined sea salt
- ¼ tsp baking soda
Cooking supplies:
- Baking sheet (stainless steel)
- unbleached parchment paper
- glass mixing bowl
- Tbsp scooper
Did I mention that there is cookie dough involved!..and its egg free so you can lick the bowl clean 🙂

I made these last night and they are fabulous! Thank you!
These cookies are SO good!! The only problem I have is that they flatten out in the oven and I can practically see through them. How do you get yours to look like actual cookies? Thank you!!
Hmm maybe you used a different almond flour. I used honeyville. It could also be that you melted the oil instead of softening. there is a bg difference with this recipe. good luck next time!!
Wow, this makes me want a cookie, lol.
